     Enjoy a day fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, Sturgeon or Shad Oregon's mighty Columbia River. The Columbia River supports Oregon's largest runs of Chinook and Coho Salmon, Summer Steelhead and Shad. It also contains an abundant population of Sturgeon.  From the spring through the fall, the Columbia River provides some of northwest Oregon's finest fishing.

     When fishing with Bob Singley, you will enjoy fishing in comfort and safety from a 23 foot Alumaweld jet sled, which will accommodate up to five guests. Larger groups can be accommodated. Quality fishing tackle and bait are provided. No experience is necessary.

     Most fishing trips are located close to Portland Oregon. Sturgeon and Salmon fishing on the Columbia River is done out of Dodson Oregon, close to Bonneville dam, 35 miles east of Portland. This is in the west end of the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. The scenery as well as the fishing is spectacular. Summer Steelhead and Fall Chinook fishing are located in the same area, as well as out of Rainer Oregon. This area is located on the Columbia River adjacent to the mouth of the Cowlitz River, a major fish congregating area. Rainer is approximately 35 miles west of Portland. 

     The Willamette River, which flows through downtown Portland, has some excellent fishing for ocean bright Spring Chinook during the month of April. It's large runs of Salmon as well as it's convenient location to the Portland metro area, make this one of Oregon's most popular fisheries. 

     The Buoy 10 fishery, at the mouth of the Columbia River near Astoria Oregon, is a popular fishery that produces excellent catches of Chinook and Coho Salmon. Mid through late August is prime time for this fishery.
